Dr Keorapetse Tabane was born in Hebron, a village about 30 KM north of Pretoria. Matriculated in Tsogo High school in Mmakau, North of Pretoria. Completed MbchB at Medunsa in 1999,then did internship at Kalafong hospital just outside Attridgeville.
She did her community service at Voortrekker hospital in Mokopane (previously Potgietersrus) in 2001, then returned to Johannesburg to specialise in Internal Medicine.
Born and grew up in Hong Kong, Dr Chan came to South Africa in 1993. She obtained her medical degree, MBBCh(Wits) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2001.
She worked and trained at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital as an intern, followed by a year of community service at Elim Hospital in Limpopo.
She then spent a year in the UK as a Resident Medical Officer in various UK hospitals before returning to South Africa to specialise in Internal Medicine at Wits and obtained her FCP(SA) in 2008.
Born in the city of Nairobi, I attended and completed high school at Sacred Heart College in Johannesburg. I attained my medical degree (MBChB) from The University of The Witwatersrand in 2005.
I then went on to do my internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital and then completed a years community service at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital in 2007.
